The Richard Brautigan Library

In line with the vision of Richard Brautigan, The Brautigan Library collects unpublished manuscripts to provide a home for "the unwanted, the lyrical and haunted volumes of American writing," a home that exists without judgment as to content or literary technique.  Its curator is Dr. John F. Barber of The Creative Media and Digital Culture Program at Washington State University.  The collection is part of a collaborative research project with The Clark County Historical Museum.

Publishing is not the goal of The Richard Brautigan Library.  Rather, it exists to provide a home for the creative endeavors of its authors, published or unpublished.
